Statue of unity: worlds largest statue

    Everyone knows  about the Statue of Unity today….

•  There is a memorial dedicated to Vallabhbhai Patel, the IORN MAN of India, which is located in the Indian state of Gujarat.  The memorial is located near the Sardar Sarovar Dam, an small type of island on the Narmada River...

 It is the tallest statue in the world, with a length around 182 meters (597 ft).

As i remember the total height of this statue was 240 meters, with a base of 58 meters and a statue of 182 meters..

•  And yaa, the statue is twice as tall as the Statue of Liberty..!!

 Once you reached near the statue there is a lift to reach the monument..The lift takes us to 135 meter gallery inside the statue.

•  As i remember there were,grill or a window near the chest of the statue, from we are able to see the Sardar Sarovar Dam..

  

 An observer deck 450-500 feet high has also been constructed from a river in which  hundred+ people can inspect the statue at the same time..

And Yaa, From this gallery, we were  able to see the Narmada River, the dam and the Satpura Range.

•  Next to it a modern public plaza has also been built, from which the Narmada River and the statue can be seen.  The plazaa includes catering stalls, gift shops, retail and other facilities..

After that we had visited the museum and exhibition hall which was also been built in this huge structure to depict the life of the Iron-Man.!!

•  The Statue of Unity has many attractions.  These include museum, exhibition, laser light, sound show, boating and also the helicopter ride .trekking facility is also available.!!  We here also get to see the site sewing and bird watching..

 There are many tents near the lakes near the dam  with allmost modern facilities is also a major attraction, where we can stay in these tents to enjoy the natural environment.

• And Yaa don't forget that the Statue of unitY is  closed every Monday for maintenance.,and funny think was that we reach there by Monday only.!!

Then we have to wait for the next daY..
