 I have gone to some place before this, but I have never seen the beauty of this journey.

 This beautiful city of our tour looks like a dream to me and my family

 Udaipur is a city in India that is famous for excellent and magnificent palaces.  If you too come to visit the Udaipur sightseeing, then surely you too will start feeling like the King and Maharajas for some time like us.

     Udaipur was the palace of all time great warriors, we have had it since childhood and today was the day when I was going to experience the tour.

 The feeling of color in the current Rajasthani culture in Udaipur will draw you towards it.

   Udaipur is a city and tourist destination in Rajasthan which

 Famous for its history, culture and its fascinating sites.  And instead it is also famous for its beauty.  !!

 The region was already under the Bhil chiefs by the middle of the 12th century.

 Along with Bhil, Patel, Meena, Rajput, many other Jatis reside in Udaipur.

 The city of Udaipur was founded in 1559 by Maharana Udai Singh in the fertile circular Girwa valley, southwest of Nagda, on the Banas River.

 The new city of Mewar, governed by the Sisodia dynasty, Udaipur city

 Was also established as the capital.

 Presently, Arvind Singh Mewar is the 76th patron of the Mewar dynasty.

 This beautiful city of Rajasthan seems like a dream for tourists coming from abroad.

 The city is historically and culturally unique.

Pichola lake, Udaipur

 So we first proceeded to Lake Pichola and after proceeding we were told by Sarthak that

 Historically, this lake is said to be

  Pichola Lake is not a natural lake

  It is an artificial lake, but looking at its natural view, we will find it no less than an actual lake.

  This journey is incomplete without a boat ride in the evening because this ride will give you a unique view.  In the evening, the sun rays falling on the buildings and the water makes the view of every side golden and you will be fascinated by its beauty.  Nature lovers will love this place.

  This pichola lake has been built by humans, it was built by a Banjara during the period of Rana Lakha, whose name is called Pichhu Banjara and it is called Pichola Lake in his name.  Actually, Pichhu Banjare did not build such a huge lake, he only collected a place with the help of the dam of Kotda river so that his farm could get water.

 Later Maharana Udai Singh ji, who never bowed to anyone, whether Akbar or Afghan, but when he was coming out of Chittor, was defeated in front of the beauty of a lake and on the banks of that he built the palace.  Later that place expanded and a new city emerged on the Udaipur map.  That lake is this Pichola lake,

 The lake is surrounded by majestic Aravalli ranges, palaces and bathing ghats.  Seeing Udaipur situated on the banks of this beautiful lake, it looks like Venice in Italy ..

 Then successive generations of Maharanas built different palaces on its banks, and the same palace adds four moons to the beauty of the lake.

 Pichola Lake is the most attractive place in Udaipur which you should prioritize.  The admirable and aesthetic scene will subdue you.  You can come here with anyone.  This lake will promise you to make you blissful.

  Lake Pichola is a nut platform in the middle of the lake, Maharana Udai Singh II expanded this lake after discovering this city.  There are two islands in the lake and there are palaces on both.  The first one is Jag Niwas palace, which has now become the Lake Palace Hotel and the second is Jag Mandir.  Both palaces are excellent examples of Rajasthani sculpture .... Jag Niwas, palese and Jag Mandir

  We went by boat

 First on our list was "Jag Mahal" and it was also our dining place.  "

 Jaganivas, built amidst Pichola Lake, is counted among the main attractions of this place.

 .  Maharana Jagat Singh built this palace in the year 1743 as a summer residence.

 Which has now taken the form of a convenient hotel.

  There is a hotel with 43 rooms and suites, built of white stone.  It is on a natural basis of four acres

 This palace is situated on Lake Pichola,

  The hotel offers its guests a speed boat that transports guests from the city to the hotel.  The hotel has been marked as one of the most romantic hotels in India and the world due to its unique location. The Lakes Palace is named after it was earlier known as Jag Niwas,

  .. Lake Palace, a five-star hotel.  We came to this hotel by boat.  Here only by boat

 It can be reached as it is situated in the middle of the lake.

 Boating in this lake is a bit expensive but less in front of the beauty of the lake.

  As soon as I entered the hotel, from the beginning I was feeling like a 'Royale key'.

  As we entered the grand hotel, the courtyard I saw a grand swimming pool built in the shade of lotus pond and mango trees, it was a perfect place for fun lovers like me and my sisters.  "

  We are served royal food here, traditional way…

  But we could not go to the inner parts of this place because it is supposed to go inside

  Then we proceeded to Jag Mandir.

  Jag Mandir, Udaipur

 Jag Mandir Palace is one of the most famous sites of Udaipur.

   We got spectacular views from it, the beauty of the Golden Palace is rare and grand.

 Jag Mandir Palace is a three-storey structure

 During your visit here you can also see other famous structures like Gul Mahal here.  Where Shah Jahan lived with his family.  Gul Mahal is built in the style of Islamic architecture.

 Another name for this Jag Mandir palace made from Islamic architecture is "The Lake Garden Palace".

 A mosque was also built here to cater to the religious needs of Shah Jahan.  The palace of twelve stones is also situated here which is made of 12 slabs of marble.

  To The Lake Garden Palace

 Made of marble and yellow sandstone.  It is surrounded by eight grand-sized elephant statues, everyone is attracted to the eight elephants beautifully carved with pure white marble.

 This aesthetically splendid palace is located on the southern island of Pichola Lake.  Shimmering water around and in the middle of it, this amazing shining palace is a testimony to its beauty.

 Has told you that Jag Mandir Palace also has roses, jasmine flowers, palm trees, frankincense trees, and gardens of bougainvillea.  Which makes it even more beautiful.  Presently Jag Mandir Mahal also includes a restaurant named 'Darikhana' which serves very tasty Rajasthani food.  You can also visit a museum which tells about the history of the place.

  Then after spending time at Jag Mandir we moved to The Grand City Palace.

 You can also tell that many films have been shot at City Palace like 'Guide' Goliyon ki Rasleela Ram-Leela 'and James Bond film' Octopussy '.

 The granite and marble fringes of this city palace nestled in the lap of Aravalli is opposite to the natural surroundings.  The complex architecture of the Regal Palace is an amalgam of medieval, European as well as Chinese influences and is embellished with numerous domes, arches and minarets.  The City Palace itself is situated on a lush green garden and is quite attractive to see.

 

  This city palace of Udaipur is a gentle confluence of architectural talent and rich heritage.

 The history of City Palace is also associated with the state of Mewar.

 This magnificent city palace was built by Maharana Udai Singh in 1559, his son Maharana Pratap also lived and also operated the kingdom of Maharana Pratap from here. 

 After these the palace was made even more magnificent by his 22 successors, who added many structures to it.  The city palace now has palaces, courtyards, pavilions, corridors, terraces, rooms and hanging gardens.

 It is a grand campus.  We had to take a ticket to enter this campus, we all entered the campus by taking a ticket from Badi Paul.  On entering the premises, we will see the grand Tripolia Gate.  It has seven arcs. These arcs symbolize the seven memorials when the king was weighed with gold and silver, and the amount of gold and silver equal to the weight of silver was distributed among the poor.  The wall in front of it is called 'Agad'.  There was a game of elephant fighting here.

 There is also a Jagdish temple in this complex.  And a part of this complex is now the City Palace Museum.

 Which showcases some of the finest elements of Rajput art and culture - ranging from colorful paintings to typical architecture found in Rajasthani palaces.

 It has now also been declared a government museum.

 Presently, Shambhuk Niwas is the residence of the royal family.  Further to the south are Fateh Prakash Bhavan and Shiv Niwas Bhavang.  Currently both have been converted into hotels.

  The famous and incredible City Palace is an important part of Udaipur's life.  The main facade of the City Palace, with a width of about 244 meters and 30.4 meters, is quite attractive.  A distinctive feature of this palace is that it is homogeneous in the design and construction of many structures.  Many changes were made to it over time.  Built of granite and marble, the interiors of the palace are decorated with intricate mirrors, marble works, murals, wall paintings, silver works and colored glass.

 Elegant balconies, tall towers and cheeky structure of the complex, large luxurious rooms, hanging gardens, City Palace add to the beauty of the palace. 

 


The city pales museum will make you feel like a royal family of high order.

 The amazing sculptures and colorful photographs of the palace will introduce you to its history in a new way.

  A fascinating view of the city can be seen from the roof of the palace.  From inside the City Palace is a maze of long corridors designed to survive surprise attacks by enemies.

  Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace), Udaipur

 Sajjangarh, also known as 'Monsoon Palace', is a wonderful palatial building in Udaipur.

 Maharana Sajjan Singh of the Mewar Dynasty built the palace in 1884 to see the rainy clouds.

 Who ruled this place for centuries

  This beautiful palace is built of white marble.

  This mahel grasshopper was on the top of a hill in the Aravalli ranges. Even in summer, you can experience good cool air here .. !!

 Sajjangarh Palace is situated on a famous Bansadhara mountain, which is situated at an altitude of about 944 meters above sea level with a view of the famous Pichola Lake.  The palace is also known as the Monsoon Palace as it was used as a summer retreat for the Mewar kings.

   It also offers a beautiful view of the city of Udaipur and its lakes.  There is a sanctuary in the foothills of the mountain.  In the evening, this palace lights up, which is very beautiful to see. The palace is best for weeding,

 The best time to visit Udaipur is from October to March.  The winter season is a favorable time to visit this city.  Being a desert region, Rajasthan is extremely hot in summer due to which one should avoid traveling in this season.

 Traveling to Udaipur Traveling by road can be quite comfortable as the city is well connected to many major cities of India like Mumbai, Delhi, Indore, Kota and Ahmedabad by road network.  You also have many options to travel by bus.  You can travel to Udaipur via deluxe buses, AC coaches and state-run buses.
