 It is a popular hill station nestled in the Nilgiri Hills.As you can enjoy the nature's beauty by just wondering in the hills.!!

It consists of many points to visit. First we decided to move on the " botanic garden"

 The BotaniC GardeN..

•  As per the local sayings,this beautiful garden was spread over 22 hectares. There are many fossils of a trees are kept here, which are believed to be 15-20 million years old.  Apart from that more than 650 species of trees and plants are also found here.  This garden is best for nature lovers like us.. then after exploring the beauty of the garden we moved towards the beautyful laKE.

 The Ooty Lake..

•  Here we all were going to enjoy the boating and fishing..And yaa before that, You must have fishing permission before purchasing bait for fish.  There is also a garden and jetty here. It feels very lovely when you sat near the lake and keep watching the little tides of the lake.!!

 Dodabetta Peak

•   It seems to be the highest peak in the area..  This peak was just only 10 kilometers away from Ooty so it can be reached easily here.  The view of the valley is seen from here. According to the people's saying, that when the weather is clear, areas far away from here are also visible, including the plains of Kayambattur.!!

Then after that it was time for collecting some of the great memories, ShoppinG.!!

•  Ooty tea is famous for hand made chocolate, aromatic oils and spices.  Handmade chocolate will be available in a variety of flavors on Commercial Road.  This chocolate is available at every other shop here.  King Star Confectionery is very famous for this.  Ornaments of various sizes and designs can be purchased from Big Shop on Commercial Road.  The artisans here make traditional Toda style silver jewelery in gold also..

And yaa don't forget to admire the Wildlife.!!

 Madumalai Wildlife Sanctuary

•  This wildlife sanctuary was around 60-70 km from Ooty.  Some of the rare species of flora and fauna are found here and many endangered animals are also found here.  Elephant, sambar, chital, deer can be easily seen.  Apart from animals, colorful birds also appear flying here.we enjoyed here clicking some of the best pics of our journey.!!

 Don't forget the squash water..

 It is situated on the banks of Kalpatti, this waterfall was around  100 to 115 feet high.    Apart from the beauty of the waterfall, many species of animals can also be seen on the slopes of Kalahatti-Masinagudi including leopard, sambar and wild buffalo..ahh for that you should have a strong luck also.!!
